I thought I would post a quick update on since I've kind of been out of the blogosphere for the last couple of weeks. Well, first of all I have great news to report....I'm engaged!!!!! I'll post all of the details at a later time but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the new and exciting news in my life!
Okay, so I'm not engaged but it is April Fools Day and in the spirit of the holiday I thought I would participate via the blog.
Really, there is not a lot going on with me right now except for that I finally finished "Persuasion" and I LOVED IT!!!

You really had me going there!!!! If it weren't for the fact that I live with you, I totally would've believed you. Of course, I practically believe everything you say...remember when you had the crippled finger?!!! =)
You've got to get up pretty early in the morning to pull one over on me. (See AD's blog)
well it was a good try anyway, My Chelsea ask me if I pulled a joke on anyone and I told her I wasn't around anybody, but truth be told I just don't think about it until it's too late. Here you are in the middle of Tax season and still have time or presence of mind to post a joke. Man I have to get a better sense of humor.
Did you fall at all for Ryan's joke at the start of AI last night? I thought it was funny.
The best one in my family was Clay (age 12) waking up Jessica (age 9) to tell her that there was an earthquake in the night and her school had been damaged so there would be no school. She told him that she thought she felt that and had awakened in the night! She came running in to tell me and was very sad to find out it was an April Fools joke.
I got Jon by telling him that Brooke's husband said no when I asked him for a photo...He and my friend fell for it...
Persuasion! Hooray! I'm so glad you liked it. I just watched Becoming Jane and fell in love with Jane Austen all over again.
Since I read your blog April 2nd the whole April Fools Day thing really didn't dawn on me. I thought maybe Mr. 90 year old tax man had finally declared his intentions!
Oh my goodness...I really thought you were engaged too. I'm dumb.
I prepared a someones taxes yesterday, and told him he owed (he didn't) as a prank...yeah, he didn't think it was very funny. At least he didn't get mad.
P.S. Yes, I'm going to Utah for conference. I'm bringing 3 friends with me and we're staying at Julia's house. And yes, you can come to New York with me. I don't know when we're going yet!
so MARK read your blog at work on 4/1. He came home and said "oh, have you read Kandis' blog today?" I had sent him to the blogs that day to look up some april fools pranks from Sheriece's blog and someone else, so I guess he just checked them all out while he was at it. I said "YAY, she updated?!" So I go to it and gasp and say "NO WAY!" and then instantly "OH, WHATEVER!" and he laughs and laughs and says "HA, I can't believe you fell for it!!" ....then admits he fell for it too. :) LOVED this Kandis!!
